Banner County School in Harrisburg, NE seeks a dynamic, passionate music educator for an anticipated opening for the 24-25 school year due to a retirement. Our Music Program includes vocal and instrumental instruction for students in PK-12. In-district performance opportunities include Winter and Spring Concerts, Veterans Day Program, Graduation, and Pep Band. Our students also participate in MAC, district, and state competitions. Extra Duty Assignments are available but not required. NE teaching certificate and endorsement in PK-12 Music required. Banner County School is a D2 school located 25 miles south of Scottsbluff/Gering with a PK-12 enrollment of 140.
Banner County School operates a 4-Day instructional week with an optional enrichment day for students and professional development and planning time for teachers. Base salary for the 2024-2025 year is $38,100 with health insurance paid 100% by the district, free lunch, and affordable housing on school grounds.
