The High Ability program took 6 junior high and senior high students to the state fair to compete in the academic contests. The students took tests in Spelling, Science, Grammar and Mathematics.
Kathryn Blankenship was 1st place in Spelling and received Honorable Mention in Science. Delaney McGowan placed 2nd in Science and received Honorable mention in Spelling. Kairyn Miller received Honorable Mention in Spelling, Science, and Grammar.
The students then took part in all the fun the State Fair has to offer.
