Hello, thank you for visiting Banner County Schools online. We have a lot to offer in terms of supportive community, excellence in education, and qualified and caring staff as I experienced first as a student and now as a professional. I grew up in the county and graduated from BCHS before attending college at Wheaton College in the Chicago area.
After receiving my bachelor's degree in Music and Communications, I spent five years working internationally with non-profit organizations before returning to Western Nebraska and completing my PK-12 teaching endorsement at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. I taught and coached for seven years before joining BCS as the school counselor and completing my master's degree in School Counseling from Chadron State College. It is a delight to work with professional, compassionate staff serving our community in ways that continue to be innovative and hard-working. We look forward to serving you and your kids.
