About

This is my 30th year as an educator in the State of Nebraska and my 29th year  teaching at Banner County School. I enjoy teaching the business classes, fulfilling my responsibilities as the K-12 Media Specialist, and my duties as the Activities Director. This year I am teaching, personal finance, accounting, introduction to business, business economics, entrepreneurship, 6th grade exploratory entrepreneurship, Word and Excel, and facilitating our work-based learning program.  I also teach the K-5 library classes. Along with my classes, I also serve as a sponsor for the class of 2025, and I am also coaching cross country and track.

I have bachelor degrees in agricultural business and business education and a master’s degree in instructional technology from the University of Wyoming. I have received additional training in Athletic Administration, NCA/AdvancEd training, Crisis Training, "Human Performance Project/Life of an Athlete", "8 to Great", and "40 Assets". I serve on the Student Assistance Team and on the Crisis Team.

I am a member of the Nebraska Coaches Association, the National and State Interscholastic Athletic Administrations Association, the National Education Association, the Nebraska State Education Association and the Banner County Education Association.

My husband, Bill is the ag. instructor and also coaches wrestling at Banner County School.  I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking and camping, running, attending athletic events, and spending time with family.
