One goal of our school is to “Be respectful.” Being respectful helps everyone feel welcome and safe. When we act respectfully, we listen carefully to each other, help each other, and try to understand how others feel. When we speak respectfully, we use friendly and polite words.

Colbie Knaub - 2
Colbie enjoys seeing her friends at school and reading. Her favorite subject is, in fact, reading. What makes Colbie feel the happiest? Her family, the world, and God. She would also like the board to know that she likes to keep her secrets to herself.

Amiah Cooper – K
Amiah enjoys recess, free play, and science. His favorite subject is Art, because he likes drawing and what he makes in art class. The things that make Amiah happiest are playing with his friends, lunchtime, and playing on the skateboard ramp at the Wal-Mart park.

Charlee Vrbas – 1
Charlee enjoys art because she likes painting and drawing; PE – because she loves to run; Music - because she gets to sing and play the freeze game; Science – because she loves to watch the videos to warm up her brain; and library – because she loves reading the new book

Jeremiah “JJ” Bennett – 1
Jeremiah likes recess when they play kickball and basketball. He enjoys science and math and doing everything in his classroom. He likes making books about math, science, and reading.

Saryah Mason – 1
Saryah enjoys recess and playing outside, art, PE, and math. Her favorite subject is math. The things that make Saryah happiest are being with her mom, her stuffed puppy, Mo, and playing in the snow.

Rhett Lapaseotes – K
Rhett enjoys going to Recess and PE. He likes “free play” in the classroom as well as writing stories. Rhett’s favorite subject in school is Sonday for three reasons: He likes the words, he enjoys making sentences, and his Sonday teacher is his Grandma!

Riata Peterson – 1
Riata likes playing tag outside and playing with her friends. Her favorite subjects are math and reading. The activities that make Riata happiest are playing in the snow, swimming in the summer, and setting up the Christmas tree.

Trace Olsen – 3
Trace enjoys Math, Science, PE and Art at school. His favorite subjects are Math, Science, and PE. The thing that makes Trace the happiest is “dogs!” He would also like the Board to know that he likes to play sports.

Quincy Boettcher – 5th Grade
Quincy participates in YMCA Flag football and Banner County MatCats wrestling. His favorite subjects in school are math, social studies, and PE. Quincy describes himself as athletic, smart, and a good kid.

The 3rd round of federal funding under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund will support interventions that respond to students' social, emotional, and academic needs due to the impact of COVID-19.

Through a grant through Bayer Fund, Banner County Schoosl purchases the Ready, Set, Drone! Camp!. Beginning on October 22, students in grades 4–8 can attend the camp. It will be offered every other Friday.
