Call to Order
The Special Hearing on the Budget and Budget Presentation of the Banner County School
District Board of Education was called to order at 6:35PM, in the school cafeteria.
The Nebraska Open Meetings Act was displayed in the cafeteria.
Notice of the Budget Hearing and Special Hearing to Set Final Tax Request was published at the
entrance to the school, the Banner County Court House, the Harrisburg Post Office, Banner Capital
Bank, in the Western Nebraska Observer, and on the school website at www.bcswildcats.org
Roll Call
Present: Megan Allen, Ronald Johnson, Jake Knaub, Douglas Olsen, and Ryan Olsen.
Also present: Evelyn Browne, Superintendent/BOE Secretary and Troy Holmberg, Principal.
2024-2025 Budget Presentation
Dr. Browne presented an overview of the 2024-2025 Proposed Budget

There was no public comment.
Motion to close the 2024-2025 Budget Hearing at 6:46 pm.

Special Hearing to Set Final Tax Request
Open the Special Hearing to Set Final Tax Request at 6:47 PM. Public comment was invited for the
purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating
to setting the final tax request. There was no public comment.
