Banner County School's application for the ARP ESSER III grant addresses the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of our students as we continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The total ESSER III grant award is $267,455 over 3 years.
The ESSER III Plan was informed by parents, staff, students, and community members. The two key areas of fund allocations are for the purchase of interactive ClearTouch whiteboards for five classrooms and hiring one full-time teacher as a Learning Recovery and Acceleration for the duration of the grant period.

Amendment 1 - Use of Funds 13
Addressing learning loss among students, including low-income students, children with disabilities. English learners, racial and ethnic minorities, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care, of the local educational agency, including by -
- Administering and using high-quality assessments that are valid and reliable, to accurately assess students' academic progress and assist educators in meeting students' academic needs, including through differentiating instruction.
- Implementing evidence-based activities to meet the comprehensive needs of students.
.50 FTE teacher to support learning acceleration and recovery for students over 2 years
Individual and small group support for students in Math, Reading, and Science.
Salary and materials - $76,232

Energy Financing Project - $3,750
Amendment 3 -Use of Funds – 16
Other activities that are necessary to maintain the operation of and continuity of services in local educational agencies and continuing to employ existing staff of the local educational agency.
