Banner County School is a D2 school located on the western border of Nebraska, approximately 30 miles from Scottsbluff/Gering to the north and Kimball to the south. PK-12 enrollment is 150.  Banner County School operates on a 4 Day School Week with a 5^th Day enrichment program called “Optional Enrichment Friday.”

Full-Time Teaching Position 2025-2025

Banner County School in Harrisburg, NE seeks a dynamic, passionate, agriculture/skilled & technical sciences educator and FFA sponsor for the 24-25 school year due to a retirement. Qualified candidates who seek a collaborative and professionally stimulating workplace should apply. Banner County School operates a 4-Day instructional week with an optional enrichment day for students and professional development and planning time for teachers. We offer a competitive salary with health and dental insurance paid 100% by the district, 13 PTO days, 50% disability paid, free lunch, and extra-duty opportunities. All years of experience and relevant graduate hours will be considered for placement on the salary schedule. Affordable on-site housing may be available.

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska teaching certificate in Agriculture Education, Skilled & Technical Sciences Education, or eligible for a Career Education or Alternative Permit.
• Experience with FFA programs and leadership development.
