Call to Order
The Work Session of the Banner County School District Board of Education was called to order at
1:03 PM, in the superintendent’s office.
The Nebraska Open Meetings Act was on display.
Roll Call/Welcome
Present: Laura Baker, Ronald Johnson, Jake Knaub, Douglas Olsen, and Ryan Olsen.
Also present: John-Robert Faden. Shari Becker, NASB attended via Zoom.
Motion to excuse BOE member Megan Allen from the January 8th, 2025, work session of the
Banner County BOE. Passed with a motion by Douglas Olsen and a second by Laura Baker.

Information and Discussion Regarding Superintendent Search with NASB
Shari Becker of NASB facilitated a discussion with Board members to establish goals, criteria, and
timeline for the superintendent search.
