Call to Order
The Work Session of the Banner County School District Board of Education was called to order at
1:03 PM, in the superintendent’s office.
The Nebraska Open Meetings Act was on display.
Roll Call/Welcome
Present: Laura Baker, Ronald Johnson, Jake Knaub, Douglas Olsen, and Ryan Olsen.
Also present: Evelyn Browne, Superintendent; Shari Becker, NASB.
Motion to excuse BOE member Megan Allen from the December 18th, 2024, work session of the
Banner County BOE. Passed with a motion by Douglas Olsen and a second by Laura Baker.

Authorize the superintendent to work with Banner Capital Bank to set up an operating line of credit.
Motion to authorize the superintendent to work with Banner Capital Bank to set up an operating
line of credit for $500,000 to support the General Fund. Passed with a motion by Douglas Olsen
and a second by Laura Baker.

Information and Discussion Regarding Superintendent Search with NASB
Shari Becker of NASB facilitated a discussion with Board members to establish goals, criteria, and
timeline for the superintendent search.
