 MTSS team has had a bit of realignment and has been working with Tessa &
Sara from NDE to gain more footing and direction
 Policy discussion
 Breakfast w/Santa has changed directions
 Window replacement and outside “stuff” still being replaced
 New bus in service on town route. Also using for some of the activity trips

Elementary and Secondary Building meetings, Math Strategies Training (Kristin Kasten
from ESU 13), MTSS Committee, Concession/Online payment training, Tech time:
documentation of online sources used by students
Adjustment to OEF Schedule on 12/12
Grades K-5 will have OEF sessions, students in grades 6-12 will have academic study
halls to make-up work and owed time due to excessive absences along with some
activity practices and approved events (no traditional OEF sessions).
High School Basketball and Wrestling started last week
In the first two tourneys, Tate O has earned 1 st while Wilbur R has a 1 st and a 2 nd
ASVAB Testing – Sophomores completed this assessment on 12/8
Winter Concert- This Thursday at 6:00, soup supper at 5:00

As a district, we earned a 4 rating (excellent)
Banner County Elementary earned a 4 rating, Middle School a 4 rating, and
High School a 3 rating (great)

How the district rating was earned:
On spring NSCAS (grades 3-8) and ACT testing (juniors)
Student Proficiency:
ELA 39/61 Math 40/61 64.75% proficiency
A proficiency level between 60-70% earned the district a 3 (great) rating
Growth:
ELA 30/35 Math 21/35 72.86% student growth rate
Non-Proficiency:
2022-2023 48.5% 2023-2024 47.62% 2024-2025 35.25%
Science Proficiency (Grades 5,8,11) 79.17%
Using a formula to weight Growth at 65%, Non-Proficiency at 25%, and Science
Proficiency at 10%, Banner County was awarded an additional one (1) point bump to
bring the district from a 3 (great) to a 4 (excellent) rating
