Call to Order
The Regular Meeting of the Banner County School District Board of Education is called to order at 7:04 PM,
in the school cafeteria.
The Nebraska Open Meetings Act is displayed in the cafeteria.
Notice of the meeting was published at the entrance to the school, the Banner County Court House, the
Harrisburg Post Office, Banner Capital Bank, on the school website at www.bcswildcats.org, and in the
Western Nebraska Observer.

Motion to excuse Douglas Olsen from the Board of Education Meeting. Passed with a motion by Laura Baker
and a second by Jake Knaub.

approved
 Fall seasons will be wrapping up soon
 Superintendent evaluation dates
o Thur. Nov. 6 th - Wed. Nov. 12 th Supt. Self evaluation
o Fri. Nov. 14 th NASB sends board self-evaluation results
o Fri. Nov. 14 th - Sun. Nov. 23 rd Board members complete their evaluations
o Final Report & Executive Summary will be emailed to the board president by
Wed. Dec. 3 rd (Board Pres. will also receive a follow up call from a Board
Leadership Team Member to discuss results.)

Katie Armstrong and Kinsey Groves attend the Nebraska Association of Teachers of
Math on 10/13-4 and the State MTSS Conference on 10/9-10.
Blood Drive - Friday, October 31st
Our National Honor Society is hosting another Red Cross Blood Drive
State STUCO Convention
Mr. Caudillo, Mrs. Boettcher, and Makynna Boettcher attended the convention on
Monday, October 13 th in Papillion.  Makynna is the vice-president representing
Region 2 and Mr. Caudillo is the Region 2 advisor.
FFA Street Dance
Held on October 9 th , thank you to Mrs. Mai Lee Olsen, FFA students, and the FFA
Boosters for coordination of this event.
Thank You - Emma Christiansen
Emma has served as substitute teacher, cross country coach, and all-around support
for the school at the start of the year. She is leaving us at the end of the week.
