TEXTBOOKS AND WORKBOOKS
All books, new, old, and rebound, shall be stamped with the school stamp. Price of the book, date of purchase, and the book's number shall be in each book.
Textbooks are to be checked out to students. A record shall be kept of the assigned books; also a record shall be kept of the condition of each book.
Each student shall be responsible for his or her assigned materials. When textbooks or other school-owned items are called in or returned by students, fines may be assessed for items lost, abused, or which may exhibit excessive wear. Fines may vary according to the cost of the material, year it was purchased, and amount of damage.
