SCHOOL OWNED RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
Application of Policy: School owned real estate zoned as residential and used for residential purposes shall not be included in the definition of ‘school property’ for purposes of this policy manual. Policies intended to address school owned residential property shall specifically state that the policy includes authority over the school’s residential property.
Teacherage Usage: The teacherage apartments are not to be rented to people other than school employees. Apartments are not to be occupied by people other than the school employee renting the apartment and his or her immediate family members, unless otherwise approved by the Board.
By July of each year, the board of education will adopt a rate schedule for the rental of school teacherages.
