Free meals are available to all children age one to eighteen at specific sites across Nebraska.

Charles Cooper – K

Charles enjoys math, reading, science, and AR. His favorite subject is reading. Charles is happiest when he is playing with his friends at recess. He likes to spend time with his family and going to the zoo.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Starting this summer (2024), eligible families will be able to receive money for select food items through the new United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (Summer EBT) program.

Raelynn Felkins – 1

Raelynn likes Art and recess. Math is her favorite subject because she likes to learn stuff! She also likes AR reading. The things that make Raelynn happiest are making friends and hanging out with her sister. She also likes to show rabbits and likes basketball.

Step it out: S-T-E-P! After you say the problem and think of solutions, it's time for "E: Explore the Outcomes." This means thinking about what might happen. This week, if you have a problem, think through what might happen for whatever course of action you choose. 

Remember the STEP process: S-T-E-P. "Say the problem first. The next step is T: Think of solutions." Be creative! If you have a problem today, try to think of 3 solutions that are safe and respectful.

Matias Bocanegra – 2

Matias enjoys spelling and math in second grade. His favorite subjects are math, music, PE, and social studies. What makes Matias the happiest are lunch and recess.
